FAQ
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
We've gathered answers to the most common questions about Webrelay. If you don't find yours, check the documentation sections or contact support.
General
What does Webrelay do?
Webrelay exports sites from builders (Tilda, Craftum, mottor) to clean, self-hosted HTML. You get a ZIP archive or a site uploaded straight to your hosting. Learn more in What is Webrelay.
Which builders are supported?
Full support is available for Tilda, Craftum, and mottor (ex-LPgenerator). Sites on other platforms (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress) are migrated as static HTML without server-side dynamics.
Do I need programming skills?
No. The whole process happens in the browser: paste a link — get a ready site.
How long does migration take?
Usually 1–5 minutes, depending on the number of pages and images.
Price and plans
How much does it cost to migrate a site?
You can migrate a single page for free. For all pages, FTP deploy, and optimization, you need a package (from 490 ₽ for 10 sites) or a subscription (from 299 ₽/mo). Learn more in Plans and limits.
What's included in the free plan?
Migrating a single page of one site and downloading a ZIP archive.
Package or subscription — which to choose?
A package is a one-time purchase of a site quota, forever. A subscription is a monthly payment with scheduled backups.
Migration and result
Will the site work after migration?
Yes. The layout, images, fonts, and animations are preserved. Forms are redirected to a built-in handler, and the store cart is intercepted by a script.
Will the original on the builder stop working?
No. Webrelay makes a copy — the original keeps working until you switch the domain yourself.
Are real images kept, not blurry previews?
Yes. Builders (especially Tilda) show blurry placeholders and hide the originals in data-original. Webrelay substitutes the real images and removes the blur.
Can I migrate an online store?
Yes. The storefront and cart display just like the original, and checkout is intercepted and delivered to email and Telegram. Online payment through a server needs to be set up separately.
Forms and domain
Where do form submissions go?
To email and Telegram via the form-handler.php file. Learn more in Forms and submissions.
Why aren't form emails arriving?
Most often the hosting blocks the mail() function. Check your hosting settings or use Telegram notifications.
How do I connect my own domain?
Change the domain's A record to your hosting's IP. Learn more in Domain transfer and DNS setup.
Backups and hosting
Can I upload the site straight to hosting?
Yes, over FTP/SFTP. Timeweb, Beget, REG.RU, SprintHost, and any hosting with FTP are supported. Learn more in FTP deploy.
Are backups available?
Backups are available only on the Pro subscription — manually and on a schedule. Learn more in Backups.
Legal
Is it legal to migrate my own site from a builder?
Yes, if you created the site and own the content. Webrelay moves your own work to the hosting you choose. Migrating someone else's sites without permission is not allowed.
